small victory by victory

I really am getting better at this, in significant (to me) ways. Look at the below photograph, which I just took this evening, no editing.


















This is the first successful outdoor lowlight shot I have ever taken. Ever! And you CANNOT be on automatic to get something like this.

This is probably partly a fluke, but I was using a high ISO, I believe automatic white balance and an automatic flash, after trying other things first. This is actually the only decent picture I took this evening, but that's fine with me.

Moving forward, slowly.
